The Atlantic recently hosted an event called “Recoding the Republic”, which inviting thought leaders from throughout the country to explore the American dream and answer the question, “Can the American Idea Survive?”.
Dr. Noguera was invited to be one of the panelists during the event, speaking on the topic of “Immigration, Education and Social Mobility” with Jamie Casap, the Chief Education Evangelist at Google, and Linda Lopez, Chief of Los Angeles’ Office of Immigration Affairs.
